Gyan Bahadur Tamang (Gyans)
Managing Director/Expedition LeaderGyan Bahadur Tamang (Gyans) is born in 1993, November 18th in Kavrepalanchok, Kanpur Kalapani-7. Being one of the most famous holiday and hiking destinations in Nepal, Gyans has got to feel the power of tourism and nature from a very young age. After completing high school, he begins his adventurous yet tough journey in the tourism sector of Nepal. In 2012, he becomes part of NATHM for the Trekking Guide Course and never looked back after that.
Soon after his Trekking Guide Course, Gyans joined Introductory Rock Climbing Course organized by Nepal Mountaineering Instructors Association (NMIA) in 2014. To sharpen his understanding of the environment, he took a professional Eco-Leadership Trekking Course in 2015. Later, Gyans decided to move towards the mighty Himalayas and joined the Basic Mountaineering Course organized by Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) in 2017. Likewise, he then joined Wilderness First Aid Course in 2017 organized by the Himalayan Medic, and High Mountain Rescue Course in 2018 organized by Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) & Nepal Mountaineering Instructors Association (NMIA).
To strengthen his profile as a guide Gyans decide to take all the guidance from the experts in the fields. In 2018, he also went through Rock Climbing Level-1 Course that was organized by the Nepal Mountaineering Instructors Association (NMIA). In the same year, he also did Helicopter Marshalls Course organized by Nepal Mountaineering Association(NMA) and Avalanche Rescue Course organized by Sherpa Foundation. He did not stop there and went for Advance Mountaineering Course organized by Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) in 2018/2019.
While taking all sorts of courses to make himself dependable amidst the high Himalayan mountains, Gyans has done everything. And, now his one of the most experienced climber and reliable leader in the field. Moreover, he has also climber several peaks, mountains, and mapped numerous trails in the Himalayas.
