Yala Peak Climbing is an adventurous journey in the gorgeous Langtang region. Yala Peak Climbing package is created to take you to the top of Yala Peak that offers a stimulating climbing experience. As the route to the top of the peak does not involve technical climbing, therefore Yala Peak Climbing is an ideal package for beginner trekkers. You do not need to have previous climbing experience to climb Yala Peak. Still, this factor does not decrease the level of adventure, fun, and satisfaction that you will get during the journey.

Located in the central part of the stunning Himalayas. Yala Peak stands 5,520 meters above sea level. As the peak is suited at the border of Nepal and Tibet, you will get to see high mountains of both nations. Yala Peak Climbing offers serene trail covered with hundreds of vegetation and lush forests of rhododendron, pine, juniper, oak, fir, etc. Likewise, the trail follows Langtang National Park, which allows you to spot wildlife and many species of birds. At the airport terminal gate, you will meet our representative. He will take you to the hotel. Get freshen up and relax. Later, in the late evening, you meet with other team members on welcome dinner organized by the company.

After having breakfast, you go on a guided sightseeing tour of several UNESCO World Heritage Sites. During the tour, you get guided by a professional and experienced tour guide who will brief you about the monuments and its history. You visit places like Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhnath Stupa, Swayambhunath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

From Kathmandu, a long scenic drive will take you to Syabru Besi, which is the starting point of the trek. The route will be winding and offers striking views of Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Manaslu, and Ganesh Himal.

Trekking along the Langtang Khola, you ascend towards Lama Hotel. The trail then descends and passes through lush forests of rhododendron and oak. Crossing a bridge over Langtang Khola, you ascend on a steep trail that leads to Lama Hotel.

From Lama Hotel, the trail passes through meadows and take you to Ghora Tabela. From here, you trek enjoying stunning views of Langtang range. The trail moves along the widening valley and passes by the settlement of herders and a monastery before reaching Langtang village.

Today, you head towards Kynajing Gompa, which is a very important monastery of the region. The trail includes prayer wheels, chortens, water mills, and stupas. Before reaching Kyanjing Gompa, you pass by the largest mani wall in Nepal.

Wake up early in the morning and go on a hike to Tserko Ri. On the way, you pass through yak pastures. From Tserko Ri, you get to witness gorgeous sunrise along with mountain views. After spending some time, you descend to the guest house.

Today, you will ascend to the Yala Base Camp. The trail will be rugged and snowy. On the way, you get to see stunning views of the Himalayan mountains. Upon reaching the base camp, you and your crew members will set up the camp and prepare for the summit.

Leaving the base camp behind, you will ascend to the summit of Yala Peak. The trail will be demanding and tough. Make sure to carefully follow the lead of your guide. From the top of the summit, you will get to see panoramic views of the Himalayas. After spending some time at the top, you drop down to base camp for night stay.

Following the same path, you descend to Langtang village. The trail passes through small villages, lush forests, and pastures offering beautiful views.

You are free to do anything today. Explore lively streets of Thamel, visit unexplored monuments, and do the shopping. In the evening, you will have a farewell dinner organized by the company.

Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) Symptoms & Prevention

Acute Mountain Sickness or altitude sickness is a common illness that travelers have to overcome during high altitude journey. Different factors can lead to altitude sickness and not acclimating your body properly with the altitude as you gain elevation is the major one. Therefore, it is very important to add adequate rest days to the itinerary. With us, you will be gaining a professionally designed itinerary with ample acclimatization days.

Best time to go on Yala Peak Climbing

March, April, May & October, November are the most preferred time of the year to go on Yala Peak Climbing. These months are part of the Spring and Autumn seasons. As per data, the weather is more stable in these months, which is essential for successful climbing. Likewise, the moderate climate and clear views make the journey wonderful.

Other seasons like Winter (December to February) and Monsoon (June to mid-September) is not a good time to Yala Peak Climbing due to unstable weather, bad climate, and unclear views. Likewise, heavy snow-fall in winter and rainfall in monsoon makes the trail dangerous. 

Accommodation during Yala Peak Climbing

Guesthouse and camps are the main accommodation of yours during Yala Peak Climbing. The guesthouse is available in the villages, where you will get to experience the typical lifestyle of the locals. The rooms are small with a few furniture. Similarly, there is a high chance of getting common washrooms throughout the trail. during camping, you stay overnight in camps. We will carry all the camps with ourselves. The camps we offer are high-quality and are known best for the Himalayas. 

Food & Water on Yala Peak Climbing

Food will be served as per the menu of the guesthouse. You will have a good variety of Nepali, Tibetan, and Indian dishes on the menu. Even though you will find some known dishes, the taste might differ because of the seasonings. Likewise, you can also buy snacks in the tea-shops, however, do know that as the elevation will increase the price will also increase. 

Boiling water is available in all the guesthouses. You can refill your bottle every time it gets empty. Plastic water bottles are also available, however, we recommend you not to buy it because it increases the waste, as well as the price, are also more than it should be. Do carry water purification tablets with you to double purify the water.
